Endeleeni kupendana kama ndugu. Msiache kuwakaribisha
wageni, maana kwa kufanya hivyo watu wengine waliwakaribisha
mal aika pasipo kujua.

ready with a meal or a bed when it's needed. Why, some have extended
hospitality to angels without ever knowing it!"

Sunday Worship

Sunday, May 23, 2010

Today was a day of worship and fellowship.  We attended the Nairobi Chapel – a tent church serving the believers in Nairobi.  We split up and sprinkled ourselves amongst the local people.  The service was very much what we are used to at Blackhawk Church – begin with worship time through song, moving into any announcements for the day, followed by the sermon. There was just but one minor difference……the service was 2 ½ hours long – in true Kenyan fashion!

Our afternoon was spent fellowshipping with one another at the Wathome’s family home.  Ken and Jane Wathome graciously opened their home to all of us and served us a delicious Kenyan meal.  It was much needed day of rest and reflection.

The day was finished with Jason and Emily Smith celebrating the one year anniversary.

Happy Anniversary Jason and Emily!
