Endeleeni kupendana kama ndugu. Msiache kuwakaribisha
wageni, maana kwa kufanya hivyo watu wengine waliwakaribisha
mal aika pasipo kujua.

Packing Party

Many thanks go out to Kayla Slaasted for organizing all the items that we will be bringing over to the children in Kenya. We would not have had anything to pack if it were not for her efforts. Thanks, Kayla - the children will be so blessed!

We packed a total of 17 suitcases filled to the brim with school supplies, books, books and more books, beanie babies, stuffed animals, toys, building blocks, blankets, and much more.

Each suitcase had to weigh in at less than 50 pounds in order to pass through the checked baggage claim. Andy Simon Wambach was the official suitcase weigher for the night. We'll find out at check in how close our scale is to the airline's scale. Andy & Paul did a great job making sure all the suitcases weighed in just under the 50 pound mark so hopefully we won't be shifting anything around at check in!

4 more days till we depart on our journey! Thank you for all your prayers and support!

Enjoy the pictures :))

And Pooh Bear

Leslie taking a reading break.
She giggled the whole way through the book!

Elmo says....
"Are you really going to pack me away in that suitcase??"

The saga of Amy's suitcase.....

Hmmm....it's a tight squeeze....will it close???

How many people does it take to close a suitcase?
Three on the suitcase, two to supervise....
and one to take the picture!

And the verdict is.......Whew!  It made it just under 50 pounds!

Amy, Allison and Maise holding on for dear life....
That box isn't going anywhere!

Green Eggs and Ham said Sam I am

Paul's suitcase was just over 50 pounds....
taking out some of the backpacks should lighten the load.

Do you really think that's enough, Paul?

Yup!  That was enough!  And another suitcase is ready to go :)

Last one....Happy Packing :)
